Post Campus Tel: (516) 299-2474 Fax: (516) 299-2884 Pianist AeRee Kim received her Master of Music degree from the Juilliard School of Music, and her Docotr of Musical Arts degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She has studied with Ruth Slenczynska, Jacob Lateiner, and Martin Canin. Professor Kim has won prizes in several national competitions, among which are the American Music Scholarship Association Competition and the Music Teachers National Association Competition. She performed in master classes given by Artur Rubenstein and Gina Bachauer. In addition to playing solo recitals, which include her New York debut at Carnegie Recital Hall, she has performed with orchestras and chamber groups in her native country, Korea, as well as in the United States.
