Driver’s Education

• Driver’s Education instruction is offered by accredited N.Y. State teachers in automobiles that are late-model, dual-controlled, air-conditioned and fully insured. To be eligible, a student must be 16 years of age before September 15th for the Fall term. Classes are arranged after school hours Monday to Friday and Saturdays. State requirements are six hours behind the wheel, 18 hours of observation and 24 hours of lecture. The current full tuition, excluding text books, is $475. A deposit of $100 is required, and full balance is paid on or before the first class. Please contact the Brentwood Campus of Long Island University at 631-273-5112 for exact days and times.
