This stunning view from the side porch allows us to see a garden just off the porch. In the distance is a fountain and some type of lattice. This view is exceptional because a rumor on campus is that a pool occupied this site at one time. Since the two views we have of this area show no pool, we can assume that people are confusing this with the E.F. Hutton residence next door. The E.F. Hutton residence did have a swimming pool directly to the left of the house.
