About the Library

The Brentwood Campus Library, a branch of the B. Davis Schwartz Memorial Library at the LIU Post Campus of Long Island University, maintains a wide variety of electronic resources. It provides access to more than 50,000 journal titles in electronic format through more than 250 databases, over 100 of which provide the full-text of articles. These databases provide bibliographic and full-text information in a variety of subject fields, including education, psychology, business, criminal justice, and library and information science. There are also more than 40,000 book titles available in digital format.

Brentwood students may also borrow material from other Long Island University campuses through the libraries' interlibrary loan system.

Your LIU ID card also serves as your library card to borrow books. To access the online databases from home, use the same username and password that you use to access your MyLIU and email accounts. Contact the LIU Post library's circulation desk at 516-299-2303 if you are having a problem with access or the reference desk at 516-299-2305 if you need help with research.
