Center for Business Research

"The corporation that is now emerging is being designed around a skeleton: information..."

Peter Drucker

The librarians in the Center for Business Research can help students become effective users of information. Instruction is available on using library materials, online databases, business sources on the Internet and developing research strategies.

How Instruction Can Help Your Students

Instruction helps to promote information literacy which leads to life-long learning. It is stated in the Preamble to the AACSB Business Accreditation Standards that "...the school should provide a total educational experience that emphasizes conceptual reasoning, problem solving skills, and preparation for life-long learning".

Class Instruction

Each lesson is tailored to meet the needs of your particular class and subject, and is designed for a specific research assignment.  Research guides and hands-on instruction are provided.

To schedule a library instruction session for your class, contact Dona McDermott, Instructional Services Librarian at ext 4147 or complete an online instruction request form.
