Interdisciplinary database covering a wide range of research in biomedicine, biotechnology, zoology and ecology, and some aspects of agriculture and veterinary science. Combines together many of the biological and medical databases from Cambridge Scientific Abstracts that can also be searched individually. Provides access to literature from over 6000 serials, as well as conference proceedings, technical reports, monographs and selected books and patents. Covers 1982 to the present.

Bioethics Research Library (Georgetown University) Remote access available
Provides interdisciplinary coverage of ethical issues related to health care, biomedical research, biotechnology, and the environment. Includes ETHXWeb with citations to literature on bioethics and professional ethics; GenETHX with citations to literature on ethics and public policy issues in genetics; Islamic Medical and Scientific Ethics with citations to literature on Islamic medical and scientific ethics covering attitudes and practices on ethical issues within the Muslim world; International Bioethics Organizations with information on the resources and programs of organizations focusing primarily on ethics in medicine and scientific research; Syllabus Exchange with descriptions of bioethics syllabi for semester-length classes, seminars, and continuing education courses from high school through graduate education; and Thesaurus for Bioethics which lists the keywords used to index the bioethics literature.

Provides citations to papers and poster sessions presented at major scientific meetings around the world. Subject emphasis since 1995 has been in the life sciences, environmental sciences, and the aquatic sciences, including biology, agriculture, chemistry, forestry and more.
