Title : Database Operations Manager University Center

Job Duties: The Database Operations Manager is responsible for managing the data input and retrieval from Raiser's Edge, LIU's alumni and donor database. He or she will also assist in formulating and implementing best practices for the department's biographical and gift entry procedure. Under the direction of the University Director of Development Business Operations, the Database Operations Manager will monitor Raiser's Edge database usage to ensure policies and procedures are followed for accurate and efficient data processing and reporting. Other duties include:
Manage the quality control of data to maintain consistency with the department's business rules, and assist gift processing staff to ensure donor information is entered correctly. Perform regular audits to identify and correct inaccurate data.
Create database queries by filtering data in order to generate alumni and giving reports for development and alumni team, finance and other University departments as requested for meetings, presentations and financial reporting.
Process special donations, including trustee gifts, pledges, payroll deductions, recurring gifts, wire transfers and stock gifts.
Assist in maintaining gift processing filing system.
Determine additional ways to maximize use of donor data in support of departmental goals.
Provide direction and demonstrations on the use of Raiser's Edge to both new and current staff; answer questions and trouble-shoot problems.
Assist with financial reporting and reconciliation, by running daily and monthly comparative reports and generating reports as requested by the finance area.
Expand and maintain department's Raiser's Edge user manual by documenting modifications and developments in database business practices.
Perform other duties as directed by the University Director of Development Business Operations.
Qualifications: High School degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred, plus minimum of three years' fundraising experience. Excellent written, oral communication and analytical skills; well organized, detail-oriented, and ability to work well under pressure; experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; proficiency with Raiser's Edge.

Title : Gift Processing and Data Entry Assistant University Center

Job Duties: The Gift Processing and Data Entry Assistant is responsible for producing all University acknowledgement letters generated through the Raiser's Edge database system. He or she will also process donations, respond to online-user requests, assist in filing source documents and electronic records, handle matching gifts and maintain constituent records in Raiser's Edge. Other responsibilities include: assist in handling the daily mail, gift processing and distributing the Daily Gift Report; coordinate filing and tracking of matching gift forms, following up with companies on their gifts as needed; create, update and maintain donor records in Raiser's Edge, including address changes, biographical information updates, etc.; assist in the maintenance of the daily gift source documents files; scan and index documents for electronic filing; answer phones for the Office of the Vice President for University Relations as needed and perform other duties as assigned by the University Director of Development Business Operations.

Job Description: Administer, design, and develop the University Center and regional campus websites using the Sitecore content management system (CMS). Assist with production of the annual academic bulletins for each campus and administration of collaborative bulletin system (CBS). Assist Campus Website Administrators / Developers with providing Sitecore help desk support and training to CMS users. Other duties include:
Perform daily website maintenance, including administration of site architecture and publication of content updates, using Sitecore CMS in accordance with University policies, procedures, and standards from a content management and technical perspective. Ensure that all content revisions are reviewed/approved by designated staff prior to publication.
Design visually attractive interfaces and web pages based upon approved Sitecore templates and University design standards. Implement coding practices based on W3C standards, and cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility. Produce graphical elements and other imagery.
• Coordinate requests from University Center and regional campus CMS users for template changes and software enhancements, and submit to AVP for implementation by Sitecore technical developers.
Participate in production of annual academic bulletins for each campus using the collaborative bulletin system (CBS), including organization of bulletin structure and performance of content edits. Manage user accounts, permissions, and content editing status. Coordinate review/approval of final versions of completed bulletins by designated staff prior to publication.
During peak periods or absence of Campus Website Administrator, provide backup support for Sitecore help desk and respond to requests from CMS users. Contribute to ongoing development and maintenance of Campus' Sitecore troubleshooting guide and FAQ for CMS users.
Assist Director with project management activities for new website development for University Center and regional campuses. Formulate requirements and document technical specifications, create design mockups, and implement testing and rollout of new services.
Assist with integration of multimedia assets into regional campus websites using Brightcove online video platform. Participate in design of custom video players. Assist Director with upload and administration of multimedia assets within Brightcove.
• For regional campuses, work closely with Admissions and Marketing teams to support online marketing initiatives. Design website landing pages, set up tracking campaigns, and prepare customized reports using Google Analytics.
• Participate in weekly Web communications status meetings at University Center. Maintain University Center and regional campus web job log. Report on noteworthy requests from clients.
• During non-business hours, perform off-site posting of emergency messages and closing announcements. Work closely with Public Relations Office to upload and remove messages.
• Serve as a liaison between Campus clients and IT staff. Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships. Manage client expectations effectively.
Qualifications: B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent work experience. Minimum of two years of experience maintaining website content (preferably with Sitecore CMS), and development of user interfaces and navigation systems for standards-compliant websites. Strong knowledge of various web applications/technologies, including HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, Flash, and multimedia file creation and manipulation. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Dreamweaver and Photoshop, Visio, and FTP client applications. Knowledge of relevant W3C standards and cross-browser and cross-platform practices. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills; must have a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with faculty/administrators, vendors, and technical professionals in a timely manner; must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines.

Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities: The main duties of this position will be to provide technical support of multiple graphics and animation labs and other services as required by the Division. The Associate Technical Director is accountable to the Director of Technology of the Division of the Arts and the Chair of the Media Arts Department.
Qualifications:
- Be proficient with the entire Autodesk Entertainment Creation Suite (3ds Max, Maya, Softimage, MotionBuilder and Mudbox).
- Be proficient with the entire Adobe CS 5.5 suite, with special emphasis on Acrobat Pro, After Effects, Dreamweaver, Flash, Illustrator, Photoshop & Premiere Pro.

Central Responsibilities of Position: Successful candidates will teach a minimum of 18 credits per academic year to graduate students in school counseling, bilingual school counseling, mental health counseling, and marriage and family counseling who are pursuing a master's degree or a post-master's advanced certificate toward a state credential. Direct and coordinate the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Advantage Afterschool Program, an out of school-time program for urban middle school youth sponsored by Long Island University and funded by the NYC Department of Youth and Community Development.
Provide creative leadership by:

The Surgical Technology Program at Long Island University,

The Dean will supervise 26 administrative and clerical personnel
and oversee a budget of over $4 million. In conjunction with
the Deans of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences; the

Studies; Pharmacy & Health Sciences; Global College; and
Student Development & Retention, the Dean of Admissions

of all enrollment management initiatives involving the recruitment
and retention of students.
As an inspiring and articulate spokesperson for the university,
the Dean of Admissions cultivates and maintains relationships
with external agencies, organizations and schools. The Dean
develops and implements a comprehensive recruitment plan for
all schools and colleges of the Brooklyn Campus and collaborates
closely with all campus constituencies, including marketing
and communication, faculty, financial aid, and registration
to ensure attainment of recruitment goals. He/she participates
directly in recruitment activities, including travel, public
presentations, reviewing applications, responding to correspondence.
The Dean manages all published information regarding admissions
requirements and policies and collaborates with faculty to
develop and monitor compliance to departmental admission criteria.
Candidates should have a full understanding of admissions
processes for institutions with a mission of both access and
excellence, particularly within the setting of an urban campus.
Knowledge of technology in the areas of media trends as well
as information systems supporting the application process
is critical for success in the position. Applicants should
be able to direct the development of operational improvements
utilizing ERP/PeopleSoft systems to automate processes, decisions
& communications. This is a position which requires a
high level of expertise in all aspects of admissions including:
marketing and outreach; applications processes within in a
rolling admissions plan; and cross training for campus constituencies
who participate in admissions activities. Knowledge of the
admissions processes for career-focused students is crucial.
Applicants should possess depth of experience and a record
of success in building partnerships and strategic relationships
both within and outside the institution. The Dean remains
up-to-date on best practices in the field of admissions/enrollment
management, researching and updating admissions practices,
policies, and technology as needed. He/She prepares a variety
of reports and data concerning admissions, recruitment and
general office management and performs other duties as needed
or assigned by the Provost. In addition to planning and managing
the admissions operational budget, the Dean hires, supervises,
mentors, and prepares performance metrics for admissions staff

The faculty/chair is responsible for the instruction, curriculum, assessment, student satisfaction and retention and professionalism of the Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences as well as its supervision and administration alongside the Health Information Management (HIM) and Medical Imaging programs.

About the Position
Reporting to the Provost, the Associate Provost and Dean of
Admissions serves on the Provost’s cabinet and has a major
role in coordinating strategic enrollment planning at the
undergraduate and graduate levels, leading domestic and international
student recruitment, developing campus-wide marketing messages,
and collaborating with the Associate Provost for Student Financial
Services to establish financial aid policies that effectively
support the campus Strategic Enrollment Management Plan. He
or she will also collaborate with the Associate Provost for
Student Success and the Assistant Provost for Student Affairs
in developing, implementing, and evaluating retention strategies.
Finally, working with other senior staff on the campus, the
new Associate Provost and Dean will develop marketing strategies

Provost and Dean will oversee a staff of 53 and manage a budget
of $4.0 million.
Essential areas of responsibility include but are not limited
to:
• Direct the day-to-day operations for all recruitment and
admissions management functions for all undergraduate and
graduate students; assess operations and implement restructuring
as necessary to achieve enrollment goals;
• Develop, implement and evaluate marketing, recruitment,
enrollment and data-driven plans designed to attract and retain
students;
• Provide direction and expertise to as well as ensure effective
collaboration and coordination among departments within Enrollment
Management, Student Financial Services, Public Relations &
Marketing, Student Affairs and Student Success in areas related

• Oversee the staff in units related to recruitment and admissions
by: assessing staffing needs and making necessary revisions

of staff at all levels;
• In collaboration with both academic units and all other
areas noted above, develop long- and short-range plans and
establish goals and objectives for strategic enrollment management

evaluating retention strategies;

The Successful Candidate
Candidates must have previous experience in developing, implementing
and evaluating marketing and recruitment strategies, including
the utilization of research and information technologies.
Strategic planning and marketing skills, strong management
skills, and the personality and ability to coordinate and
lead the work of multiple units are all required. Candidates
must demonstrate a clear understanding of and experience in
effective use of marketing and information technology to improve
