Reads |
The
America Reads Program, which is open to C.W. Post undergraduate
and graduate students, is an exciting alternative to regular Work
Study. If you want to make a difference, you may qualify for this
community service program. As part of the program, you will take
a University sponsored course to learn the strategies needed to
tutor students in literacy skills. You will be assigned to a local
school where you work with children three times each week for a
total of 10 to 15 hours at $10 per hour. After a two-semester commitment,
the hourly wage increases to $11 per hour. For more information
and application procedures, please logon to www.liu.edu/americareads. |
