The 31st annual LIU Post Chamber Music Festival will be held July 9 to 27, 2012. More information will be posted soon.

An intensive three week seminar that focuses on the study and performance of the standard chamber music repertoire. Coached by the faculty ensemble-in-residence, The Pierrot Consort, the program includes:

  • Chamber Ensembles
  • Chamber Orchestras
  • Faculty and Student Concerts
  • Master Classes
  • A Conducting Program
  • A Concerto Competition

Participants: Instrumentalists, pianists and conductors are selected by audition and matched according to ability and experience. Special consideration is given to pre-formed ensembles

Advanced Program: For young professionals, teachers, college students and selected high school students. College credit available

Seminar Program: For students ages 9 to 14

Special Programs for Music Educators: Graduate credits or in-service credits are available
